- Get a 360x288 pixel picture (Width x Height)

- Create a file (you can give it any name you want)
Everything that will follow (pictures, html pages) will
have to be stored in that file
If you want to build several puzzles then you'll have to
create a specific file for each puzzle

- To build a 9 piece puzzle, divide the picture into
nine 120 x 96 pixel pieces
Store the 9 pieces in a GIF format and give them the
following names : image1.gif, image2.gif, ..., image9.gif
(row by row)
(To divide my pictures I use the Adobe PhotoDeluxe
software).
To build a 12 piece puzzle, divide the picture into
twelve 90 x 96 pixel pieces
Store the 12 pieces in a GIF format and give them the
following names : image1.gif, image2.gif, ...,
image12.gif (row by row)
To build a 16 piece puzzle, divide the picture into
sixteen 90 x 72 pixel pieces
Store the 16 pieces in a GIF format and give them the
following names : image1.gif, image2.gif, ...,
image16.gif (row by row)
To build a 20 piece puzzle, divide the picture into
twenty 72 x 72 pixel pieces
Store the 20 pieces in a GIF format and give them the
following names : image1.gif, image2.gif, ...,
image20.gif (row by row)

- To build a 9 piece puzzle with " pieces beside the
puzzle " , load the page puzBes9.htm
and store it in the source format.
To build a 12 piece puzzle with " pieces beside the
puzzle " , load the page puzBes12.htm
and store it in the source format
To build a 16 piece puzzle with " pieces beside the
puzzle " , load the page puzBes16.htm
and store it in the source format
To build a 20 piece puzzle with " pieces beside the
puzzle " , load the page puzBes20.htm
and store it in the source format
To build a 9 piece puzzle with " pieces in the puzzle " ,
load the page puzIn9.htm and
store it in the source format.
To build a 12 piece puzzle with " pieces in the puzzle "

store it in the source format.

- Store the following blank picture with the name :
blanc.gif
.
- If you build a puzzle with " piece beside the puzzle
" , store the following picture with the name :
interog.gif
.
- Open your Navigator : Netscape or Explorer 4.? and
more
Open the html page you've previously stored (for example
puzBes9.htm) ... and if everything went off smoothly...
it should work!
